British Red Cross Unit
London.
M/S of Sir Arthur Stanley, Chairman of the British Red Cross Society, gives speech. Behind him are 16 lorries bought with money raised from an appeal. The lorries will take medical equipment to Ethiopia (Abyssinia). Various shots of Cosmo Gordon Lang (Archbishop of Canterbury) giving speech and blessing a Red Cross flag. We see the lorries driving through the hospital gates.
Note: Lang wears robes that looks like that of Roman Catholic Cardinal - although commentary definitely states it is the Archbishop of Canterbury. AH 2001.
